THE TENNESSEE MEDICAID FALSE CLAIMS ACT
TRAINING MATERIALS

As a contracted provider with MARCH® Vision Care in the State of Tennessee, you and
your staff are required to be in compliance with the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 and
the Tennessee Medicaid False Claims Act.

Ensuring your compliance involves three important steps — all of which MARCH® Vision Care
will help you to complete:

STEP 1:

Attend a MARCH® Vision Care training session
  Self-guided training presentation
Webinar (Contact MARCH® Provider Relations Department to obtain meeting number to join online training)

STEP 2:

Review the information contained in the DRA Compliance Booklet and by using the sample document provided in this booklet or by using your own template, create and implement the required “Fraud Detection and Prevention” policies and procedures.

STEP 3:

Provide training to your staff on the Federal False Claims Act, including whistleblower protection, and attest to the completion of the training by completing the attestation also provided in this booklet.
